Today is a simple dawn run to an Airfield on Altis. A beautiful drive along the coast. This is a milk run for someone of your caliber.

Note: Should take about 50 minutes. My best rating is (bearing in mind I know where everything is) is 40800.

Hi, excited to play this mission (love the Johnny Cash music) but having problems with the drone.

I "assemble" it, Take Control and then...........nothing.

I can see through its camera for flight or attack, but it will hover off the ground.

Once assembled, it is not GREEN, it's still grayed out, showing it cannot be enabled.

Perhaps I am doing something wrong?

You're mission will be my first experience with it.............

Hmm, all works fine my end Kommiekat.

Might be a stupid question but did you swap the UAV Terminal for the GPS in your inventory?

There are more UAV backpacks in Bacon Wagon. Give those a try.

Q sends it up in the air. Same controls as the helicopters.

I did swap the UAV Terminal for the GPS as instructed.

I replaced the UAV backpack.

And I've been pushing Q until my finger turns blue.

Just won't move. I can get CONTROL, right click and get camera view, but no movement, no sound, nothing.

Thanks Dale. I tried that. NO go.

I'm using Dev Build, no mods.

STEP 1

Switch GBS for UAV Control

STEP 2

Assemble Drone

STEP 3

Take Control of Drone

STEP 4

Use "Q" key

All steps work except 4.

I give up.

I don't want to fill up your thread with what is clearly my problem.

If I get this resolved, I post back with an answer to the solution.

Hi buddy, I just tried (in the editor) with the Darter and the left shift and z keys work for up and down for me.
