Yuklee 10 Posted August 29, 2013 Hello there! :) I am having some trouble with ArmA 2: Operations Arrowhead today! I'm trying to update it to the latest version because it's outdated and i can't join servers. I tried straightaway updating it to 1.62 but an error popped up saying that i need to have at least patch 1.59. I downloaded it without any problems and then proceeded to try update to 1.62 again and the same error popped up saying i need at least 1.59! (side note: I did not buy ArmA 2 or ArmA OA on steam because it wouldn't work at the time.) Thank you! :) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
orcinus 121 Posted August 29, 2013 IIRC you have to apply the 1.60 patch before the 1.62. Did you look at the patch ...readme.txt? Robinson's Second Law: "When all else fails, read the instructions." Good practice before any update is to make a backup copy of the game files & folders (no need to backup the mods) in case the patch fails. If it does, delete all the game files & folders then copy back the original. Don't use copy & overwrite in case the patch has installed an additional, incompatible file.
