TimeToLive for missile not used?

I was sitting all evening yesterday trying to get my TOW missile to fly according to real life stats when comes to flight time and range.

Managed to get the flight time working fairly good but it kept blowing up like after around 11-15 seconds. My timetolive is set to 22 seconds and it was still midair (in other words, didn't hit the ground) and I also put up my view distance to around 5000 meter, yet it kept exploding.

Can anyone confirm if timetolive is working?

the thing is I need 20 seconds to reach the max range.

will try once I get home.

EDIT. Its been tested, 2 seconds = explode after 2 seconds. 20 seconds= explode after 15, any ideas?

Yes,or something like it . I`ve see someone using that ,or something just like it . Look into any other parameter just like it or close to that .The solution to it is something like the problem that was faced by Pr P.R.A.C.S, namely their Bradley tank.

Search Youtube for ACE Mod and PRACS and forums about the Bradley . I think it`s TTO (Time To Target).

Or to config it to be On Safe or enable the heat seeker after a set nb of sec in flight or make it as some sort of drone following a set gps route-before enableing it.
