Xydonus 10 Posted August 6, 2013 I'm aware of the current issue regarding batteries, but not sure if this is connected to that, or if its a planned feature. I was under the impression that choosing real time, batteries would recharge upon coming back into the game, say an hour or so later. For example; Mars time is updated each time you come into the game. So if you've left your rover charging in the sun, log-off, come back an hour or two later, nothings changed with the battery, but the time has! Essentially time has progressed according to the game, so shouldn't the game make the appropiate calculations regarding the battery according to the new time update? I would certainly like to see this as a feature, not that charging batteries takes that long anyway but still.. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
dram 14 Posted August 6, 2013 Yes this will be added, though it is something that will take a little more time, as for solar panels you have to check how much of the sky they can see at a given point in time.
