  2. I'm aware of the current issue regarding batteries, but not sure if this is connected to that, or if its a planned feature. I was under the impression that choosing real time, batteries would recharge upon coming back into the game, say an hour or so later. For example; Mars time is updated each time you come into the game. So if you've left your rover charging in the sun, log-off, come back an hour or two later, nothings changed with the battery, but the time has! Essentially time has progressed according to the game, so shouldn't the game make the appropiate calculations regarding the battery according to the new time update? I would certainly like to see this as a feature, not that charging batteries takes that long anyway but still..

    You can join a lan game though with someone who owns the retail Alpha version.
  5. Ace Acre JSRS - As much as I like to be proven wrong, I can pretty much guarantee that sounds will not be up to the high standard of JSRS. This is based on the demonstration video (yes, it was an early video, still) with poor sounds, BIS track record and their statements about wanting to get this game out pronto this year. Doesn't bother me so much as a modder will come along and improve on that. ASR-AI - Again, same as above. I do hope to see improvement in this area, but doubt it will be anything of the caliber that ASR-AI has shown. Hopefully I'm proven wrong.
  6. Need some help with this... Using this script in my mission, however, I need to turn off the teleport/spawn for the player/players when in a mission. I noticed that you can spawn anywhere by just clicking on the map, I thought it might be to do with the debug mode but thats turned off.
  7. I'm having the same problem, also with the overview. I can create every aspect of a briefing/overview but when it comes to getting the pictures to work, they just refuse to work!
  8. I've got all the sample missions, including Arty among other things. I find sample missions are a great way to learn and you'll be able to do the scripting yourself once you understand the process. I don't have the original links but i'll upload them to fileplanet. Airstrikes+laser designator works fine in MP too.
  9. You could use norrins revive script which essentially allows you to limit number of revives you get and other players.
  10. I think he just wants the missile to be launched, and not to have any visual effect. Did this before in ArmA 1 as an objective, but I forget the exact code used to make it launch, was easy enough though.
  11. Might try the switch option and that. Essentially the mission is a hostage situation I'm working for COOP, allowing the BLUFOR to respond to demands issued by OPFOR utilising the radio feature. OPFOR would have a limited set of demands set out for them through the notes, so they know, issue them through chat, BLUFOR would have radio commands to trigger off various things. It's a simple concept that has been halted because of this blasted two sided radio! I'll both things tonight see if it helps. Thanks.

It works only if I disable the AI that has the 1 setRadioMsg "WhateverYouWantItToSay" in its Init field. If I enable the AI, and start as OPFOR, I get the options. It doesn't seem to limit the sides after all :(

  14. What do I need to do in either to seperate the radio options for each side? For example, I have a trigger set with the Radio Alpha in the Activation box. However, in MP or the editor, option comes up for both sides, I want to seperate that so that only BLUFOR will have the option, and not OPFOR. I'm sure its something simple :P Thanks.

    Awesome mission, even though at times it can be extremely unforgiven, like starting off and being surrounded by enemies :P... Would love to see it work in MP. Also possible to implement zones? Such as West vs East, bases and that, would make it interesting to know and set a frontline of sorts.
