tommygunner70 10 Posted August 2, 2013 first suggestion; auto-save. played TOM for the first time and played it for a good part of the day. all the way up to level 6, then it crashed on me and it wasn't saved.... me the fool for not doing so myself but still an auto-save at certain intervals would be nice. mini-Map. I'd like to have a mini-map available to me when I am driving my rover. gives me the ability to plan my route while driving instead of having to go to the map from the command center every time and estimating where my target is and what route to take. as the big map doesn't really show you closer detail. this is sub-ideal. Otherwise, its a great game. very addicting. BTW: I have noticed that if I use my mouse to move a control surface, like the mast system, It will move way faster then I can make it move with the key controls. is there a way for me to use the controls to control the parts at their max speed? Reject 10 Posted August 4, 2013 (edited) Yeah man, have a look in the settings for "Horizontal and vertical mouse resolution" should be in the controllers tab. if not have a look at the others it should be there. EDIT: +1 for mini map 2nd Edit: having a compass bearing thats aligned with the map would be extremely handy for navigation I'm not sure what kind of nav systems would work on mars, ie magnetic/gps but i know it would be cool if we had somthing. dram 14 Posted August 6, 2013 Mars has only small, localized magnetic fields, so a compass there would not work. There are plans however on introducing connection to a satellite, where you can see rovers on the ground, though bugs first. Yes, autosaves are a must, those will be added by friday's major update.
