    Map refocusing

Is there a way to stop the map refocusing on my position every time I switch to it? or is there a way to have my map focused on the spot that I'm looking when I press the map key? I do a lot of flying, particularly CAS. using the targeting pod I seek out my targets and if no targets are around I use it to provide objective intel by seeking and marking it on map. so looking at a spot in the world the targeting pad gives me a 6 digit grid reference. so I got to the map, find the 6 digit grid reference and mark it as a nav point. then I exit the map and see how close my nav mark is to where I'm looking. (Also to adjust my crafts flight heading if needed to stay in draw distance). then refine the nav point. but when I go back to the map, My map will have refocused on where I'm am flying the moment I pressed the M key. so now I have to zoom out, find the nav mark on the map again and zoom in and refine the placement. I have to go though this process a few times to give an accurate, within 100 meters accurate position before marking it on the map and relaying it to the ground forces. so either I'd like a way for the map to not start focusing on myself every time I switch to it and just remember where I had the map view placed. or for a way that the map will focus on the spot that I'm looking at when I press the map key.

    auto-save, and mini-map

first suggestion; auto-save. played TOM for the first time and played it for a good part of the day. all the way up to level 6, then it crashed on me and it wasn't saved.... me the fool for not doing so myself but still an auto-save at certain intervals would be nice. mini-Map. I'd like to have a mini-map available to me when I am driving my rover. gives me the ability to plan my route while driving instead of having to go to the map from the command center every time and estimating where my target is and what route to take. as the big map doesn't really show you closer detail. this is sub-ideal. Otherwise, its a great game. very addicting. BTW: I have noticed that if I use my mouse to move a control surface, like the mast system, It will move way faster then I can make it move with the key controls. is there a way for me to use the controls to control the parts at their max speed?
