Found an inconsistency within the mil dots when sniping!

Recommended Posts

Im really not sure if anyone else has noticed that the mil dots have a different spread within different scopes making certain techniques difficult when switching between snipers, although it was the first time I found it out and couldn't find anything else about it so I decided to make a quick video about it.

Hope it helps & Thank you for your time! :)

Without really having a clue, might be "explainable" by the two ways a mil can be defined...

ARMY says 6400 mils = 1 circle while the USMC actually call(ed?) 6283 mils = 1 circle

But seems these days most switched to 6400. (But seems they still use different "DotStyles"...)

think it's all pretty much guestimation and not so much Barometric Pressure + Altitude Correction + wind direction/speed ballistic calcs affect

factored into the game engine. its a video game.. players get sniped from enemy AI that use ak47's from 800-1000 meters away.
