Eager to Play ARMA 3 - MP Too Slow

Hello All,

Need some help with a performance issue. Just bought ARMA 3 Beta and works flawlessly on my computer, except for multiplayer. Whenever in this mode, the game slows down significantly and there is great delay when pressing a button and firing my weapon. Help to make the multiplayer more fast and sharp greatly appreciated.

Me specs:

-GTX 560

-AMD Phenom II x4 840T Processor 2.90 GHz

-6.00 GB

-64 Bit

-1 terrabyte hardrive.

There are a lot of threads about this, but here goes:

You're processor is way to slow for ARMA III multiplayer. I experienced the same problems when I had a processor in the same range.

I upgraded to an I5-4670K and it now runs flawless.

if your VGA is bot the 560 ti version, it might be a littler weak aswell.

Some computer stores are saying I need an entirely new motherboard to install the I5-4670K processor. Is this true. My motherboard is not specifically gaming.

Yeah, probably so. I needed a new motherboard too. My motherboard was 118 euros. Real money, but the game experience is def. worth it.
