radi0n 10 Posted July 3, 2013 In coop games like Domination/ Invade i have good 35 -60 fps. In Wasteland mode i have always about 25 or less fps. BUT even in coop games when server is almost full 38/40 i have good frame rate but also have big frame drops from 45 to 20 fps in 5-7 sec. When i play with 5/40 players is ok. No frame drops.. arma3beta - on 50% gfx quality Win 7 64bit i7 860 @ 3600ghz 16gb ram amd HD 5850 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-F2RBpPb_Y&feature=youtu.be

Kieran 11 Posted July 3, 2013 I found that my fps has dropped since the beta also. typically getting 80-100fps on editor but on multiplayer with nobody else on the server its around 40-65. now that may look fine but the lag is very noticeable its not smooth like it should be. Was getting much better performance during the alpha.
tarabas 10 Posted July 4, 2013 Play SaMatra Wasteland it has 20-30 FPS more then other Wasteland mods.
teach 1 Posted July 5, 2013 I have this problem as well. Im on a Win7 64 bit 8GB RAM GTX680SLI rig on an OC'ed i5-2500k at 4.6Ghz. Single player is fine and some MP servers are fine. Every now and then I am on a server that does this (depicted in your video). I defragged my HD, have the game on a 10000 RPM RAID 0, and checked all my settings on my LAN and NIC. thr0tt 12 Posted July 5, 2013 Thats the RPT file issue with it writing out errors in this constantly so conflicting with your read/writes on the hard disk as the ArmA engine relies on streaming so needs this. Create a RamDrive and use the profiles command to change where your profile is (copy over existing profile) and you will see a difference. (-profiles=X:\profiles (X: being your new ramdrive))

Do you find your multiplayer fast and smooth, or slow and laggy. Here are my stats: GTX 560 -AMD Phenom II x4 840T Processor 2.90 GHz -6.00 GB -64 Bit -1 terrabyte hardrive My multiplayer experience is slow and choppy.
