Campaign idea

Hey guys, I was just thinking how cool it would be to put those police units to good use. What if there was some sort of campaign where we play a new police recruit on Nogova? The idea being that you have to work your way up the ranks to Police Chief for all 3 islands. You pull people over, respond to emergency calls, etc. What do you guys think? Can it be done? I'd be willing to offer my resources as a script writer, not code script, but stage script, to give ideas for missions, etc.

I was just thinking of doing something like this smile.gif When I'll return from my vacation we can talk about it but this campaign will require some addons.

Excellent idea, looks like i am not the only one with the same!

I already tried to make such mission, but it is so irritating that AI doesn't fire civilians.

Maybe somebody can start putting all the civies on the sides WEST and EAST, so they CAN be fired at.

I also saw on some websites people creating islands with huge cities! like 20 floor buildings and stuff!

You can change their sides in notepad. Civilian pistol fights are quite a sight wink.gif

As a police officer, it would be cool to see a great police map. The current one being played "Cops N Robbers" leaves much to be desired (no offense). I would like to see some realistic new models for it. The current police jeep is unrealistic. First of all no cop would prefer to ride in a damn jeep to a radio call..you are exposed to the elements..not including rocks and bottles..bullets...whatever people may want to hurt you with. But I know making police car with a functional light bar is difficult. The mission should allow the "police" to call for back up and a helicopter...I assume the script would be similar to the artillery scripts..instead of calling in arty on a position..you can call for back up or a helicopter or both. Police units should have body armor..maybe their damage levels can be tweaked? Players can be sent calls by dispatch by use of another script. When badguy player X walks into Trigger1 or kills a player or destroys property...the trigger will create a radio call sent out to "All units" then the cops can be sent to that area.not sure how a suspect description would be relayed to the responding units but it would be interesting to see.
