How to install script for spawning weapons on my own server

Hey guys. Ok so im completely new to this and was looking for some help. I simply run my own little server using the server application TA2DTS and its really only for me and my friends to play some fun co-op missions on. I have heard you need scripts for this kind of item spawning, i basically just want to spawn weapons in , in-game. just for me and my friends. However im new to this and im not sure where the scripts go, what script i need and how to activate them and so on :P as i said im very new to all this. Help would be much appreciated. P.S Everywhere i searched comes up with DayZ results, this is NOTHING to do with DayZ just simple little server with friends. Thankyou.

If it's definitely only a private server for you and your friends and you are not checking signatures, just use MCC Sandbox. Run it on the server and on your client (or just on your PC if you are hosting). In addition to spawning assets, you can basically build entire missions while in-game.

yes it is just for a bit of fun (not checking signatures, thankyou for the reply. So i just download this sandbox and simply run it?

If you are hosting, just run it as a mod. If you have a dedi server, run it as a mod on the server and on your client. Your friends do not need to run it (they could actually login to the panel and take control if they did). You could lock them out of it, but that would require using an MCC module in the mission, which would also require everyone to load MCC as a mod. It's just easier in this situation to do it on the sly.

It is a very powerful tool (it's actually a real-time mission building tool) and so it is not something you'll likely be able to use right away without checking out the basics in the manual. That said, it isn't complicated at all.

MCC is great but might be a bit daunting if you are new to Arma. If you want to be able to unpack missions and add simple scripts or make editor changes I recommend you read Mr. Murray's Editing Guide (oldie but a goodie).

Hey im in but it says access denied on everything i try to do how come?

You need to be logged in as admin if you are on a dedicated server. If you are already logged in MCC has it's own 'login' button I think on main screen near bottom.

No, you just need to hit the "login" button on the MCC panel. MCC doesn't care who you are.
