JJWebster2013 10 Posted May 16, 2013 Hi guys, I have just installed ArmA 2 and Operation Arrowhead. To get online it says download the latest patch, version 1.62. So I download it, and go to extract it and it says I need version 1.11 first. I am a bit confused as I thought 1.62 would include everything from previous patches?! I also tried to play DayZ however I cannot play it until I am up-to-date with the latest patches. Also, is there a difference between the patches I am talking about, and the BETA patch? I have done lots of research however keep going round in circles and would really appreciate some help! I am unsure of which patches to download, and my internet speed is so slow that I only want to download what I need! Thanks in advance, Josh Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
tom3kb 15 Posted May 17, 2013 1. Install A2, run the game and check version. 2. Install OA in the same path, run the game and check version. The newest version is 1.62. If you have older ver. for example 1.50-1.59 first you must use patch 1.60(this will update A2 to v1.09) then install patch 1.62(this will update A2 to v1.11). In the end if you want to play DayZ you must download Beta patch->write in google:arma 2 beta patch. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
