Multiple Model problems!

Recommended Posts

Hey guys! I have multiple problems I have no idea how to fix... Well in simple way 3 problems, and those are the problems...

As you can see there are pouches in the ground however... The pouches should of be in on the model's back as they are on the model - OFGDVgcl.png

Second problem is the beret, can you see it? yap for some reason it is in the model's crouch but as in oxygen it is on the head level... Could anyone help me out here?

EDIT:

I managed to fix it! didnt know selection can cause that :P however I do have one problem with shadowlod which I find... irritating

Only happens on 3RD Person shadows, 1st person shadow works fine.

Looks like a problem with the proxies, did you try copying the proxies in the arma2 example soldier model to your own shadow lod? I guess you're using the ArmA1 sample models - you should use all Lods from the ArmA2 example soldier except shadow and resolution lods. And replace the proxies in that lods.

edit:

Might also be a problem with the named properties. (Window -> Named properties). Go through all your lods and compare them with the A2 example soldier and see if the properties are the same and adjust accordingly if needed.

I've managed to fix the shadow problem when the player does not hold the weapon, everything works fine but now it seems that when the model holds a weapon shadows are screwed up.

And they are ArmA 2 lod's, the model is made from vilas's mlods from arma 2 and Im sure I screwed something up.

All the lods are okay... Im completely lost if its my fault or its something Vilas didnt fix/improve upon...

If all of the LODs have the proper animation named properties (different than named selections) then it might be a named selection problem, assuming your p3d is binarized.

Nop its in testing purpose so I didnt need to binarize it, could it be model.cfg problem by any chance or not?

I think it's because you didn't binarize it.
