With all those public server having problems with maybe a "hacker" or a "virus", and the fact that I went to those server to play and have the same problems (flying and dying) . It only modifies game functions in memory, and those are reset every time you restart your game. Of course, if the server you are playing on isn't restarted, or the players you are playing with haven't restarted, their hacked functions will just modify your game functions again.
