Sigmar0 10 Posted April 25, 2013 I know I'm not the only one with issues on this, but someone has hacked numerous servers requesting that some such is discussed (I don't care what his gripe is about, I'm just here to operate). What I'm getting at here is; it's made the game totally unplayable. I'm not sure why this guy hasn't been addressed yet, but I've been warning friends away from Arma 3 because of this. Needless to say, I want to see this bug fixed because Arma is an awesome game (to say the least), but if this issue isn't fixed I'll be looking for a way to get my money back. I don't intend for this to be inflammatory or anything but I feel like I've been cheated out of my money.
Ginastic 10 Posted April 25, 2013 Yes BIS need to fix this. Can't play the last two days because of hacked servers
Harzach 2518 Posted April 25, 2013 Already discussed ad nauseum. MP security is not within the scope of the alpha. This will be addressed at a later time. Creating yet another topic isn't helping at all.
Sigmar0 10 Posted April 25, 2013 So, this isn't going to be resolved soon? Is there any reason why this can't be dealt with? Because it's kinda BS

chortles 263 Posted April 25, 2013 No, it's a game in an alpha state. If you were expecting a finished game, you expected incorrectly.Plus the exploit takes advantage of a fundamental aspect of how scripting/mission-building works -- which is what the hacker message mentions ("this'll keep happening until BIS removes the scripting library" and, implicitly, starts from scratch). Harzach 2518 Posted April 25, 2013 hacker We really need to stop giving script babies so much credit. Whoever started this is doing it only out of malice, as it would be just as easy and effective to raise the issue without ruining everyone's experience in alpha.
