killintimetodie 10 Posted April 18, 2013 I have a computer that I share with a brother who has arma 2 and got banned for somethin he was doing. I have a second profile and I also have the game also . I logged in on my game and it says I have been global banned and has the same code my brother has poppin up on his I have contacted Battleye with no response from them like i figured would happen. I have not done anything along the lines to become banned and I dont want to wait around for a message that is never going to get replied to. So, I want to know if i have gone through my computer and deleted everything that has to do with arma2 and bought the game again, will they still ban me since my brothers game was from the same ip cause I dont want to have purchased the game if this low budget anti hack crap bans me because there is an offender on our computer. Thanks.
tom3kb 15 Posted April 18, 2013 Before you install new copy off arma 2 be sure that you cleaned register from all things that left there from 1st copy of game.

Ranwer135 308 Posted April 19, 2013 hmmmm. If you were banned on a server. You shouldn't have any problems getting into other servers. Same with BattleEye. But if you cannot get into any server saying you were banned, you or your brother may have been hacked by an in-game hacker (I have dealt with hackers doing this kind of hack, and have banned them permenantly). I am not an expert with dealing this kind of hack on my computer by getting rid of it. The best way to stop the hack is to go and talk to a computer proffesional who works in shops or shopping centers. Also you can also try and delete your ArmA II profiles by going to Documents/ArmA II profiles/Your profiles. I hope this will help your problem Ranwer
tom3kb 15 Posted April 19, 2013 (edited) @Renwar if you delete your profiles this dont help, his cd-key was banned. You can have many profiles but they use the same key, so even if he create new profile this don't change anything. @killintimetodie Ask your brother if he use any cheats/hacks or any programs for Dayz. ;) Edited April 19, 2013 by tom3kb
