Luckynmber 1 Posted April 13, 2013 Hello, I got a little story to tell. On my first cd key, i tried out some hacks, ill admit that. Got banned, stopped to play Arma 2 OA (dayz mod) for like 2 months. Decided to get back to the game, and play legit. So did make a new steam account, bougth cd key, and playd for around 35-40mins, a friend came by. I left, logged out to lobby, and then we i get back (my electricity is bad in this apartment, my computer did shutdown, like everything else inside here). When i turn it on the day after, and try to play. I just get global ban message, i did not run any programs / hacks / software etc that could have done this. Im 100 % sure, i just read the globaly banned tread, so i knw u will refer me there most likely. But im asking for a refund, steam said i have to contact the game seller about this. I have contact battle eye, but havent gotten a response after 3 days. So im asking for a moderator to refer me to a website where i can fill a form for refund. If this is not possible i will contact the authorities about this, i totaly accept losing my first key, because i deserve it, but i do not accept getting banned on my new (clean) key wich i never intended to hack on. I read around abit about battle eye, seems like they ban every cd-key that gets on ppls IP's. If this is true, they wont get far with this. I knw the game doesnt cost alot, but for a person like me, without job (because i left mine recently) it gets expensive, And 29,99€ is worth alot for me. Hope for helpfull response, i accept any flames etc about hacking abit on my first cd-key.
tom3kb 15 Posted April 14, 2013 (edited) Maybe something left in register from your old banned key? I dont know. Bis dont remove global bans. Only Battleye can do this. You must wait for answar. There are so many cheaters/hackers that write to them to unban key's, so they have a lot of work, you can only wait. :) Edited April 14, 2013 by tom3kb
[frl]myke 14 Posted April 14, 2013 But im asking for a refund, steam said i have to contact the game seller about this. Ironically Steam is the game seller. If this is not possible i will contact the authorities about this One penny for everytime i read such statements...and never hear again from those people ever. i just read the globaly banned tread, If you really did, you know that no one here can help you. BattlEye handles bans, Steam handles refunds (if they really do). So no further purpose of this thread. -Closed-
