How do I make units walk to random directions

I usually use MCC Editor for that, which placing units in a certain area and make them "act naturally"..

Civillians walk on the streets, AI Soldiers patrol the area.. But How do I make this option without MCC?

If I place unit in 2D-Editor they don't move or go to the way point and then stop.

For random wandering/idle behaviour the easiest way would be to give "dismissed" waypoint with safe/limited speed settings. As for patrolling, can be used: BIS_fnc_taskPatrol. If this is not sufficient - well, then it gets more interesting. In such case you have to script own solution, obviously the more complex behaviour expected, them more complex script would be.
