eggbeast 3673 Posted March 26, 2013 (edited) posting up our details in case anyone is looking for us. we've moved around during the last year and are now housed at Elite Warriors, our forum is here: http://www.elite-warriors.co.uk/ we've been around for 10 years playing COD, BF and arma mainly (with a bit of vietcong and dayZ and the odd craze like world of tanks and payday2). I look after the arma 2 UK and vietnam themed groups in our clan - there's about 30 in the clan and 10 or so play arma 2 almost every day, though fewer on these days. we have a 16+ policy and are based in Europe/UK with english speaking /no kiddies TS. most of us are in our 30's-40's and we hail from uk, ireland, france, norway, holland, belgium, finland, germany, russia, croatia, USA, Australia and Norfolk, and we've had quite a few women in the team over the years, probably cos we're laid back and they're (relatively) safe from abusive teenagers/weirdos! our group recruits based on people playing on our server/TS for a good month or two, to make sure everyone gets on. seems to work out well. we don't always invite to clan - can take some people years to get in, but they can still play with us on the server. In arma 2 we run evolution MP co-op almost exclusively, with a bit of dayZ occasionally. we do get mod heavy at times but never play with ACE, to enable maximum use of other mods. our server is often open if you can find the mods (hint: look on our website, the address is also in the title of the server) experienced? doesn't matter if you've never played before, but we are only interested in playing with guys /gals who are interested in teamwork. if you join our server and just run for the choppers to strafe, your invite will expire before your rotors have powered up. we have a lot of ex-mil but we're not that serious in terms of realism, calling each other sir and stuff lol. we just don't like rambos and B52's anywhere near our AO cos they alert/irritate the enemy and we've designed our missions to become very hard if tactics/stealth are not used. that's it. feel free to say hi and pop in for a game sometime. mike/headset are pretty much essential. A healthy (?) smattering of ex-military, so we don't take the game too seriously, as it's a game. However we do a lot of work on foot - essential requirement for any would-be A-10 pilots is a 3 month stint carrying the MG ammo on the ground ;) but some days we all take to the air, like a host of grey angels... using all the lovely kit we made or helped make in Unsung and Rangemaster mods. and we also do a lot of tank work, using the Rangemaster mod we made, to make the tanks more real (except for all the bags of Bill's poo).
