Omicron 10 Posted December 24, 2013 (edited) Any news at all? Ever since the last patch dropped, I've been getting this error every 30 minutes regardless of what my settings are at. Really frustrating that there are no known fixes and that I never used to get this before the patch. Is Bohemia going to do something about it? soppa 1 Posted January 4, 2014 so this physx3_x86.dll have nothing to do with nvidia ? Of course it has, but it has nothing to do with your nvidia drivers. It is totally different version of physX compared to what is provided with nvidia drivers. So changing settings from display drivers for physx wont have any affect to arma3's physx. erazor 10 Posted January 6, 2014 K... so i finally got around to coming to the forums to *cough* report my problems. I'm assuming my crashes are of physx3_x86.dll nature as .. well it says something of that nature in the rpt file.... ... Armored_Code 10 Posted January 14, 2014 Similar topic, but unfortunately im not allow to post new threads? Nvidia Shadow Play on geforce experience 1.8.1 crashes ArmA III. My friends had the same problem until I figured it out when I wanted to record. When you enable shadow play, it crashes the game when launching or whenever you launch shadow play. Simply turning shadow play off allows me to launch and play Arma III. This did not happen with GeForce Experience 1.8 Shadow Play, as I recoded alot on that version. So if Bohemia can issue a fix or contact nvidia about this issue for a solution, would appreciate alot. As im no expert.
erazor 10 Posted January 14, 2014 meh... crashes.. again... wonder why it worked for days and then back to 'normal' ? xquercus 10 Posted January 15, 2014 What is the status of this issue? Over the summer I played quite a bit of A3 -- King of the Hill mostly -- and never experienced this error. Just 3 days ago I began playing Wasteland and King of the Hill and have had this error numerous times. From my application log: Faulting application name: arma3.exe, version: 1.8.113.494, time stamp: 0x52a81c42 Faulting module name: PhysX3_x86.dll, version: 3.2.4.1, time stamp: 0x5164246f Exception code: 0xc0000005 I see a lot of anecdotal comments and solutions but nothing official, authoritative, or that even seems like it actually worked. In fact, many of the comments seem downright contradictory. At this point, the game isn't playable. How do I go about resolving this error?
etxebunti 10 Posted January 21, 2014 (edited) The neverending story... Still crashing...really disappointed. http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=16962 You guys put so much effort in developping the game and a single library fvcks it all... I expected way too much with this patch I guess... Edit : server was updated to 1.10. Edited January 21, 2014 by Etxebunti
