My Arma 3 is not recognising PBO file type custom missions

Hey chaps,

I've got a problem, which is slightly annoying. Basically, I can't seem to copy a PBO file directly into the MPMissions folder and get it to work. A friend of mine is able to do this and the mission comes up on his missions list in game.

For some reason I have to unpack the PBO file to get it to work for me. Would anyone know why I can't just copy and paste the PBO file into the MPMission folder and have the game detect it...

you have to play them through multiplayer. go to the 'server browser' and select "new game". setup the server (leave it on LAN, and change it to 1 player), and then it should bring you to a list of missions

there's two MPMission folders

the one in your documents folder is for the editor

the one in the steam folder is for in-game use

make sure you're using the right one
