Arma 3 Alpha Major lag in hosted games

well to be blunt im getting lag.. major lag,

ive gone through a few threads but i cant seem to find the same issue as mine,

Right, my pc is powerful enough to run arma 3, i know this because i have no lag (running at 40-60fps) on offline games, ie. showcases, and alsowhen i join other peoples games via the multiplayer. but.... when i host a game of my own i get major lag my framerate drops to 18ish.... does anyone know why it is doing this?

do i have to change the port settings in the multiplayer menu or something. any help would be welcomed with open arms. :)

i realy enjoy playing arma but i want to host missions i have created.... :/
