Brad 1 Posted March 19, 2013 Ok then, Was there ever a fix to the seating of the co-pilot ? surely after a couple of years something was done, as its still being sold ?
slatts 1978 Posted March 19, 2013 1, AH11 pilot has the pew pew weapons, gunner has laser designator only. 2, If you want to get into the front left seat, you'll have to let the other seats fill up first, that's just the way it is, no other way around it

jakerod 254 Posted March 20, 2013 Thanks Slatts....Not the answer i wanted to hear on the co-pilot seating...and maybe bad designing/modeling of a cool AddonBut you've cleared up something that i was trying for days to get to work and was beginning to really bug me out...so thankyou for that There is a way to script a person into the copilot seat though. Put this into the init (initialization) field of the copilot: this action ["getInCargo", heli_name, seat_#]; heli_name is the name of the helicopter. Seat_# is the seat #. This will require some testing to figure out which one it is. Easiest way is probably to tell a group of soldiers to get in. Whoever the last guy is to get in that is your number. You may need to subtract 1 from that number however. So if you name is heli and the seat number is 20 it will look like this: this action ["getInCargo", heli, 20];
Brad 1 Posted March 20, 2013 (edited) Much appreciated Jakerod, but did'nt work the way i wrote it in. It is seat number 6 for the co-pilot (the 6th AI sits in the co-pilots seat) and the helicopter is the Merlin HC3 [bAF] (as it is written in editor) so i tried this this action ["getInCargo", Merlin_HC3,6]; and this this action ["getInCargo", Merlin_HC3_ [bAF],6]; i know i'm writting this wrong but i'm new and i apologize to you.... for something so simple to you is so new to me ---------- Post added at 04:35 ---------- Previous post was at 03:33 ---------- EDIT==== Jakerod a big thankyou for trying to help me ....but to save you from trying to explain how and where it all goes to a noob...ill settle for a equally as good free and working merlin from DDAM Danish Defence Army Module RDAF EH101 Merlin The Eh101 Merlin is more or less like the BAF Merlin but this version differs a bit â– Diffrent nose section â– FLIR dome â– Copilot/Observer (WORKING) http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=15710 Edited March 20, 2013 by Brad
