The group started as a small guerrilla team hence the name, but since the past 14 years a lot has changed and we are happy to say we’ve evolved into the Guerrillas of Liberation clan of today, what we hope ISN'T your everyday Arma clan. We play the game now in a tactical manner offering our players all kinds of factions and gameplay! All of our members are dedicated and motivated to play and enjoy Arma regularly together as a group. We work hard to deliver the best co-op gameplay Arma 3 has to offer; whether it's the effort of the programmers; the leaders or simply one of the members, they all do their part to create the community which we are proud to call our own. Guerrillas of Liberation defines itself as a tactical coop group. By that we mean our group applies tactics that forms structured gameplay closely resembling the military, however there's no "Yes - Sir, No - Sir! " mentality and we don't enforce rules and authority that's unnecessary, just enough to ensure things run smoothly. We're "realism" with all the good parts and the bad left behind! Weekly Unique Missions & Campaigns - We have many editors and scripters that work hard to bring at least two unique missions consistently every week of the year, we also play scenario driven campaigns to further immerse you in the action! Variety - Different to many other groups, we tend to vary our gameplay and factions frequently to challenge ourselves at every turn. Factions such as the United States, United Kingdom, Russia, China, CSAT, Germany and many others! A Strong Community - Our clan strive to provide a fair, close knit community of similarly minded players who enjoy working together not only in-game, but also outside of the game. We all help to improve and evolve our clan and gameplay, teach new recruits and provide the friendly environment that we all enjoy! Infantry Focus - If infantry is your thing, look no further, our infantry squads spend a lot of time on our unique combat training ground! Our squads provide what is the core of our gameplay and we seek to always improve to create the best infantry experience available in Arma 3! We teach you everything - We have dedicated, experienced leaders and instructors that pride themselves in teaching you and all our new recruits what they need to know, we teach you how to shoot, formations, everything from A to Z. If our recruits are willing to learn, nothing but the sky is the limit! Dedicated Air Corps - Actually the Sky isn't the limit, we have a dedicated team of players who enjoy flying in Arma 3! Players who constantly provide us with airstrikes and transport throughout our missions! Do you wish to see combined arms or fancy yourself as a combat pilot? Look no further! Our group has an age requirement of 18+ or older (Exceptions can be made at 16+). You must own a legal copy of Arma 3 and the APEX DLC. Have a working microphone. English Speaking. Be able to attend as many of our main missions/trainings as possible (Saturdays 19.00 UTC - Tuesday 19.00 UTC). Not be a part of another unit in ArmA (Multi-claning). Team-oriented - Someone who wishes to be a part of a team rather than going it alone, someone who helps wounded teammates and sacrifices your virtual self for the greater good! Friendly and mature - We try to maintain a safe, friendly and mature environment for all our players, this helps us reinforce the motivation for having fun and performing like a well oiled machine! Motivated and Dedicated - We all put in the time to play with the group, attending as many missions as possible and being part of the team consistently. We’re looking for those who are in it for the long run! Eager to learn - One of the most important things we look for in our new recruits is their eagerness to learn, as long as you are willing to learn, we will be willing to teach! We appreciate players who really commit as we all do for the sake of camaraderie! Joining is simple! Head over to our website and sign up on the forums, just leave an application in our recruitment section. Once read a recruiter will contact you asking you to join Teamspeak for a short interview so that we may get to know you and give you all the information needed for joining! If you want to know more about the Guerrillas of Liberation clan and how we play then continue to read, if you already feel like our group is for you then don't hesitate to sign up! We hope to see you on the battlefield! Here's a short summary of the history of our group. Guerrillas of Liberation started out in the earliest installation of the tactical shooter franchise 'Operation Flashpoint' which then later became Armed Assault: ArmA. After 3 years of ArmA the clan switched over to Arma 2 where we started developing more structured tactical gameplay to accommodate the growing clan numbers, and ever since that time, we’ve continued to fine tune and improve all of which is thanks to our members. Almost 15 years later, here we are in Arma 3, still here and still improving! The GOL play the game using a custom platoon-sized structure, we have created our own roles but one can still find similarities with other military forces around the world. Our platoon is currently made up by two rifle squads, these squads house three fireteam's each; Alpha, Bravo and Charlie The Team consists of 5 roles; the Team leader, the Rifleman with anti-tank weapon, the Grenadier, the Assistant Gunner as the medic and the Automatic Rifleman, the teams firepower! These fireteams make up the bulk of the forces on the ground but more specialised positions such as the platoon medic, platoon leader and forward air controller are also available for those with the experience. In addition to our ground forces we’re also lucky enough to have a dedicated group of pilots or Army Air Corps (AAC) as we call them. AAC provides the platoon with all manner of logistical support from, casualty evacuation to dropping in resupply or all important precision airstrikes from many different types of helicopters and fixed wings, Because we offer a dedicated Air corps, we play with re-spawns. All the re-spawned players are re-inserted into the AO (area of operations), this avoids someone dying early and missing out on the fun! Our main missions are held on two separate nights during the week, the first of which is the major operation. This is held on Saturdays (19.00 UTC) - the major operation is usually part of an on-going scenario based campaign created by our mission editors. The second mission is held on Tuesdays (19.00 UTC) - on Tuesdays we have our combat training, where we gather to discuss and practice many different individual and group skills. For us, training is very important and ensures we perform well, together as a team! Fear not though, we always supplement our training with a smaller sized mission that’s designed to test us in the topics covered in training! Both sessions usually lasts for 2-3 hours So what is a GOL campaign? Our gameplay is built upon playing a series of missions with the same theme, these synchronous operations form our campaigns. We offer many different types of campaigns which varies in assets, factions, objectives and more. As a group we have always tried to keep things fresh, so our gameplay varies from everything in between: Coalition Anti-Insurgent operations in Afghanistan to Russian Conventional Warfare in Europe! To be able to provide this much variety in the game, we maintain a large pack of addons housed on our servers. For example, we always use; ACE3, Task Force Radio and a variety of CUP Addons. We believe that our gameplay thrives from variety, so a large addons pack is necessary! Don't worry though, they are easy to download and we use third party software (A3Sync) to synchronize everyone in the group! In addition to variety in our campaigns, we try to keep things simple and easy to follow for our members for example each campaign mission will have its own mission briefing. The mission briefing is written by the editor and posted on the forum informing everyone of the missions objectives, special instructions it also includes additional information that help the leaders plan the missions ahead of launch! A little more in-depth information about how we practice; we have multiple friendly instructors who help teach different topics every week, anything from breaching buildings to handling explosives. We do these training's to increase the overall skill of our members but also to build team spirit, it's also a great place to get to know other members of the group! In addition to practicing skills, we play a squad sized infantry mission after our initial session. This is done every week, so in addition to getting training done, we enjoy an additional unique mission every single week! Most of the time our training missions test us in topics covered during training, say for example we practice roof-top landings with helicopters and urban breaching. This would most likely lead to a mission where we get to do these things in a combat scenario! Can I join if I am of age 16-17? - We make exceptions for people who are mature and reliable, people who show a lot of interest. What DLC with the base game is required? - You will need the APEX Expansion the rest is optional Do you use radio mods? - Yes, we currently use Task Force Arrowhead Radio (TFAR). Do you use ACE3 and a medical system? - Yes, we sure do! We use the ACE3 Basic Medical System.Do I have to attend every mission? - No, we ask our members to attend as many missions as possible to make the experience better for everyone, however we understand that people cannot attend all of them! Do you use a revive script? - No, we use respawn. Basically when a person is hit, he could fall unconscious, this person is then rushed to by medics who will attempt to aid the casualty. If the person however dies, then he respawns back at our base, where helicopters will rush them back into the field!
lt.chris 0 Posted March 18, 2013 (edited) Update - 18.03.2013 Since -{GOL}- has made its arrival in ArmA3 the recruitment has exploded with applications on a daily basis. Thanks to these great term of events our clan numbers have doubled which is allowing us to start considering a second platoon. On our operation front we have had videos already being posted from their prospective of our ops , whilist we are dealing with alot of brand new recruits which dont have the full experience of -{GOL}- members as of yet they are learning quickly and well as seen below, with a couple of mistakes of course :) So here it is xH61Tftb93s&feature=share&list=UUnZag99beLHho-oIofN608Q Edited March 18, 2013 by Lt.Chris
oksman 37 Posted March 31, 2013 (edited) Weekly Update & Video 31-03-2013 Update The Clan have recently changed a few things in our gameplay, we have agreed that we should change our standard rifle to the MX-series, the reason for this is we wanted to switch to a better Automatic Rifle series. The MX will give us the variation needed to keep going in this alpha but also it adds a proper way to use the UGL's. Another note is that we will consider getting a proper helicopter addon for Arma 3 for transport of our Air-Assault Platoon, we are thinking about using the MH-47 when it is released. Video Arma 3 have already been really fun and beautiful, and we are still getting used to the new maneuvers and movements Infantry can do, here 1st Squad "Flying Hellfish" use the rotary wings in the game to deliver us to the imaginary battlefield. This means that this video shows the weekly training 1st Squad performs. Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtJDYvzOZsQ Regards Staff Sergeant Oksman Edited August 2, 2015 by Oksman
oksman 37 Posted April 17, 2013 Weekly Update & Video 17-04-2013 Update The Clan have now made the decision of playing Arma 2/Arma 3 on a 50/50 basis, this means that all new members must own Arma 2 CO to play (OBSOLETE ARMA 3 ONLY). The reason for this is that we feel that the Alpha and it's community made addons have not yet flourished completely. This means that we will play Arma 2 for periods of time before the actual release of a viable platform for the unit. Video 1st Squad does it again, we're doing an assault on the town of Girna during night, the mission allowed us to test some new styles but mostly our standard procedures. Raging rockets from the AH-9 and insanely amount of lead coming from the TARG-21's. Our former main rifle! This video is fairly old however just as good! oksman 37 Posted April 30, 2013 Weekly Update & Video 30-04-2013 Update The Clan have been playing Arma 2 for 3 weeks, we've also established a few new ways of doing things. A new casualty system has been introduced, where we evacuate our wounded with helicopters. The Army Air Corps have also been established and is up and running giving us support from the skies. In overall the clan is faring well and we are still hoping for more Arma 3 updates to allow us to fully commit to Arma 3 once again! Video The Army Air Corps of the clan are practicing to deal some damage, here is a video of a TACP guided airstrike practice. The Beloved A-10 is in use and we all love it! oksman 37 Posted May 13, 2013 Weekly Update & Video 13-05-2013 Update The Clan have gone through some different changes in gameplay recently and we have decided to start playing Arma 2 more frequently until a more stable version of Arma 3 is released. A gameplay note for Arma 2 is that we've decided to drop all types of weapon scopes, which means that all our standard kits allows only for Iron sights to be used with the issued rifle. The Clan have also changed the current faction to the US Army which allows for the use of A-10's and all that comes with it. Video This video shows us the latest mission I (Oksman) created, It's based on the island of Capraïa. We conduct airborne landings and well the outcome was quite significant, awesome gameplay awaits you below! Regards Staff Sergeant Oksman
oksman 37 Posted May 25, 2013 Weekly Update & Video 25-05-2013 Update The Clan have decided to go ahead with trying out an Addon Sync server from YOMA, we've also opened up suggestions for a Addons pack that will allow for more mods of use in the unit. Video Guerillas of Liberation went back in time and tried out the Invasion 44 mod, we played a mission on Neuville when we play as the 82nd Airborne and 764th Tank Battalion. Great mission! oksman 37 Posted July 7, 2013 Weekly Update & Video 07-07-2013 Update It's been long since the last update, we're still up and we still play! We've focused our efforts for now in Arma 2 and here is another video from 1st Squad doing some exercise of maneuvers. Maintaining knowledge of the maneuvers we do is critical for a smooth ride into combat situations. The Clan have currently finished a campaign and will start a platoon training, at this point we have been playing as the British Armed Forces which is now to change with an internal poll vote. We try to get as much variation in as possible and therefor we have faction changes regularly until Arma 3 is fully compatible for the clan. lt.chris 0 Posted September 17, 2013 (edited) Weekly Update & Video 17-09-2013 Update Hello lads and hopefully everyone has been enjoying the full release of ArmA3, we surely have!, We have been enjoying a new influx of recruits which are soon to be members which will go a long way of course to enhance the clan and the squads which we maintain. That's not all however we are extremely proud to announce that we have upgraded our server with formidable new hardware which will ensure smooth experiences on our server for members and the public alike. The relevant spec is this Intel Xeon E5-1650 64 GB DDR3 ECC This also means our Teamspeak information has slightly changed but made even easier since the address for Teamspeak now is teamspeak.gol-clan.co.uk We have also had our first official Saturday op on the full release of ArmA3 which was a great game for the exception of a slight script error which made what happened at the first objective slightly out of our control ;). Great thing is a relatively new member was able to reccord the action and put it up on youtube so without any additional delay here it is! oksman 37 Posted September 30, 2013 (edited) Weekly Update & Video30-09-2013UpdateThe clan has now fully moved over to Arma 3. A new server going through and a few happy moments for the clan. We have decided to add some content to our missions with the very detailed weapons mod, the reason for us choosing to do this is that we felt most of the clan wanted the modern-war weapons instead of the sci-fi weapons. The first weeks of Arma 3 has been very fun, however it is time to change the pace to an old display of content, most the members has been used to in Arma 2. oksman 37 Posted October 22, 2013 Semi Weekly Update & Video22-10-201323 days since last updateUpdateRight, some news from the clan. We have started using AllInArma with Arma 3. Allowing us to use the previous maps of Arma 2 in the new engine, it fits lovely and performance have been boosted both server and clientside. The Unit plays as the Russian forces as of now, however changes might occur within the next few weeks. Discussions have been had regarding changing back to Arma 2 for a more stable platform until A3 has been modified and updated, however this is not actual as it has only been discussed. Our first platoon is near completion giving us 22 active playing guys and on top of that other elements. It's been lovely to get more recruits and players into the clan and we always search for more willing and dedicated players. This video shows our first progress in All in Arma and how it looks and runs compared to Altis/Stratis. The mission was created by one of our own members and the mission was played during one of our major operations. We play as the Russians and we're in Chernarus! oksman 37 Posted November 11, 2013 Semi Weekly Update & Video11-11-201320 days since last updateUpdateLong since the last update! We have decided to splitt our gameplay in half between Arma 2 and Arma 3. The clan plays 2 weeks of each game to allow for some nice variation until Arma 3 is more capable of handling the gameplay we want!A third squad has been opened, and we are looking for more recruits to fill the gaps! :) This gameplay shows off our own airforce fighting it out in (Syria), F/A-18s and firebolts, enjoy!Signed Staff Sergeant Oksman
oksman 37 Posted November 29, 2013 Semi Weekly Update & Video29-11-201318 days since last updateUpdateNews from the GOL frontier, new addons pack and testing of new radio module is in order. However we have ceased major operations in Arma 3 under the current bug with sound and weapons. We will be playing Arma 2 for the next few weeks until the bugs have been fixed. The clan has also started reorganizing the Squads and new fresh recruits join the ranks!Anyone who looks for a tactical cooperation gaming clan, come see us :) This video is a rather older video which shows the other perspective of the old Operation Midgard, it was one of the first successful missions doing airborne landings under flak fire. oksman 37 Posted December 18, 2013 Semi Weekly Update & Video18-12-201319 days since last updateUpdateAlright, a slight boost in Recruits lately! Awesome stuff, we have decided that Arma 3 is playable for now, we've sorted out some of the bugs internally and found a way to make A3 gameplay stable. So we've went back into rotation between A3 & A2! That means that we'll be playing about 50/50 again. We are still waiting for new user-made content for A3 so we can lift up the gameplay to something else rather than the standard A3 stock gameplay. We're still recruiting, our squads are starting to fill and perhaps in near future the 4th Squad will be opened and 2nd Platoon will be introduced! Stand idle!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yuMe1aghVQcThis video shows Operation Selakano being played by one of the Squads, our job was to clear out some urban environments and well, it was awesome gameplay!Signed Staff Sergeant Oksman
oksman 37 Posted January 9, 2014 Semi Weekly Update & Video09-01-201422 days since last updateUpdateSo ends year 2013. GOL is still up and about in 2014 and we've recently stepped back into another rotation of Arma 2, another note is that we've expanded our variation quite severely by adding new mods. The current campaign is set to be in Invasion 44 that will take GOL back to the 2nd world war. We're still recruiting new members and are hoping for a great 2014! Operation Lüttich was a test of Invasion 44 prior to our decision on playing I44 during Major operations. oksman 37 Posted February 12, 2014 Semi Weekly Update & Video12-02-201434 days since last updateUpdateFinally some good experience in Arma 3, the new year has brought more forthcoming addons and our unit decided to add new mods to fill the gap of content in the new platform. We feel optimistic about the new generation of Arma and the new features the next gen will provide (Arma gen-wise). Adding quite a large addon pack with the newly released maps of Arma 2, our download size has went up. All in favor of getting that fresh & varying gameplay that is missing in the standalone game.Arma 3 is being played now with all these mods and have added quite a different aspect to the game. We are currently looking to bolster our numbers and we will be accepting new recruits for the upcoming months. 1st Squad of Guerrillas of Liberation is renown for professionalism & dedication, however we still go through the basics of combat regularly, as the skill can never be perfect, good practice for quite a few hours. Enjoying the new items of choice in A3 mods to engage in some Team & Squad Tactics.Enjoy!Signed Staff Sergeant Oksman
oksman 37 Posted March 5, 2014 Semi Weekly Update & Video05-03-201421 days since last updateUpdateAlright unit-wise we've now fully implemented Arma 3 Sync to be able to quickly update & change our addons. With a few clicks a member can get their mods sorted! Lovely piece of equipment in the technical arsenal. Currently we're on our Arma 2 rotation which will change next week into Arma 3.Not confirmed but the unit will be attempting to move towards 12-man squads, an infantry composure that is currently under use in the USMC. 12-man squads will allow our squads to separately handle more complex enemy contacts, this being changed to because of increase in recruits lately!Even though we've increased our numbers we're always looking for eager recruits to fill the ranks. Here's an older video of an Arma 3 session played. Urban terrain and lots of nasty hiding enemies.Enjoy!Signed Staff Sergeant Oksman
oksman 37 Posted April 7, 2014 (edited) Semi Weekly Update & Video07-04-201433 days since last updateUpdateA month has passed since our latest update, we're still alive and still playing! Another Arma 2 Rotation is in play and we will enjoy a possible Joint-Cooperative game with another group during our last mission of the Arma 2 Rotation.Arma 3 Sync has been tested and is now fully utilized to lower the amount of downloads for addon changes, but as our game does not offer that many vehicles and weapons we've implemented a much larger addon pack and island pack to fill the void. New Vehicles and New islands to enhance the gameplay is everything especially in the new Bohemia Interactive Platform!Group-wise the Guerrillas of Liberations is still growing, and we are still enjoying the benefit of playing Arma 2 and Arma 3, a wide variety of gameplay and options to expand our experience to newer levels. Like-minded players who search for tactical gameplay without the crap are always free to join!Link to our site right here:http://www.gol-clan.co.uk/Op CrimeaThis video was created after an operation in our previous Arma 2 Rotation, we played on Chernarus against the CDF. The Operation was stalled in the field by numerous casualties and helicopter wrecks, yet we still fought on against superior numbers of CDF Soldiers, the operation was however a failure as our Russian Force could not penetrate the enemy defenses in the time that was given.A failure is always a nice change of pace, it's not always an error as much as facing the odds and doing what is best for the group. We extracted and chose to fight another day instead of sending wave after wave into the abyss. oksman 37 Posted May 30, 2014 Semi Weekly Update & Video30-05-201453 days since last updateUpdateWow almost two months ago since our last update! We're still alive and we've got new information and updates regarding our community / unit.Currently we've decided to open up a new server, a public server that requires no addons. It's mainly for us to open large events and play different sorts of missions. It's going to help us play more with the rest of the community, which I believe is a plus.Once again we're still playing that split between Arma 2 and Arma 3 for the duration, obviously we have pro's and con's of playing each but we've decided to please everyone for now and go with both.Eventually we've promised to leave Arma 2 behind and go into the future of Arma 3, however with numerous addons we've managed to get some of that 90's and modern equipment we all love from Arma 2.Link to our site right here:http://www.gol-clan.co.uk/Op Russian MorningRight so we've played a mission then as the Russians going against some of the tough forces of the Guerrillas and CDF Forces, we managed to get a complete insert with some flaws but in the end we were on our way to our objectives. In the end though of all that fighting we came sort of behind, we took numerous casualties fighting in the dense forests and bushes of Podagorsk and the enemy had their advantage. Great mission though mixed in with some nice moments, please enjoy. Enjoy!Signed Staff Sergeant Oksman
oksman 37 Posted August 10, 2014 Semi Weekly Update & Video10-08-201472 days since last updateUpdateAlmost three months since our last update. We're still active and still playing! We've currently started another Arma 2 Rotation with a twist. The Vietnam Campaign called Operation Crazy Horse brings us to the Unsung mod for Arma 2. A lovely experience with another challenge, engagements take us from 500m to 20m firefights, another depth of gameplay is added with the Jungle maps and most of us enjoy the change of pace.Award & QualificationsWe've added qualification courses and medals to make members thrive towards taking that extra step to become a more experienced and educated "soldier". The qualifications take us to medical courses, marksmanship courses and lessons that refine other skills such as using the mortars or deploying anti-tank weaponry with maximum effect.Medals have also been added to allow members to earn bronze stars and other military medals, these rewards are usually only given to people who've handled extreme situations with finesse. We've also introduced Campaign Ribbons, ribbons that are given to members who've attended the larger part of our campaigns, our current campaign "Crazy Horse" will grant members the ribbon for fighting in Vietnam. These awards, ribbons & qualifications have been added to increase the depth of which you can improve your skills within the game. Accuracy-wise, attendance-wise or simply just theoretically. We hope it will increase the will to take that extra step towards being more than you can be.RotorLib & Army AircorpsThe RotorLib was recently added to the development build of Arma 3, our clan has long been waiting for the new helicopter gameplay, I can remember personally waiting since the time before Arma 3 was released. An increase of realism and immersion for the flying aspect of the game brings more challenges as it increases the amount of skill and discipline required to properly pilot the rotary-wings vehicles. Regardless, GOL is hyped for it's full release and the contents of the Helicopter DLC. Our Army Aircorps assist the Platoon with transporting troops into the field and transporting casualties out of the field, and they are looking for more players! Considering our choice of support, we have been more than happy to deliver napalm strikes and bombing strikes in mass to neglect terrain for the enemy. oksman 37 Posted September 5, 2014 (edited) Semi Weekly Update & Video05-09-201426 days since last updateUpdateAbout 4 weeks since our last update, I'm actually writing this report a bit early because the unit has made a few major changes. First of all we've had a new wave of fresh recruits, many new faces and players ensures that GOL still creates that feeling of FNG's running around! Within a few weeks they'll be as experienced as the rest of the group, we are very happy to have introduced 5+ players during last week.Secondly, our clan has changed from playing a mix of Arma 2 & Arma 3 and have now decided to fully commit to the Arma 3 Platform, with the use of Arma 3 sync we download and create our own pack of selections of the best mods in Arma. Addons such as Authentic Gameplay Modification and plenty of varying units & factions, because of the lack of content we felt that we need a larger sized addons pack for the group, and Arma 3 Sync made it possible and fluent. GOL is very thankful for it's existance!Army AircorpsOur Army Aircorps are currently growing and we are still looking for a final pilot to fill the last slot. The (AAC) currently operate rotary-wings as a priority but fixed-wings are present in the arsenal as well, the AAC is the most important part of the clan and requires a lot of dedication and skill. If you wish to fly, write it down in your 'preferred roles' in the application.Link to our site right here:http://www.gol-clan.co.uk/Mountain AssaultWe are set to launch a campaign playing as the French in our Virtual Bosnia scenario, however before then we felt that we need to practice the use of our new equipment such as the Minimi and the FAMAS. A really nice atmosphere leading to insane firefights and long distance and short. This is 1st Squad playing a mission after the Weekly Exercise. oksman 37 Posted October 6, 2014 Semi Weekly Update & Video06-10-201432 days since last updateUpdateRight about a month since our last update, we're happy to announce that the majority of Desync is finally over, we played our first mission this weekend without any desync which was marvelous. During the time of the desync we had a chance to test and play with the new rotor-lib feature in the Dev Build which proved to be quite a lot of fun. A feature awaited for as long as I can remember, we've also introduced a bunch of new addons into our addons pack which allows for more uniforms and gadgets to fill our needs. Including the cTab Commanders Tablet and Eric J's weapon pack. We're still very much active and with 4 sessions (2 Optional) a week, we feel that we've reached the roof of how much you can handle, so if you're looking for a lot of gameplay. Head our way!Link to our site right here:http://www.gol-clan.co.uk/Veteran Machinegun TeamThis video shows one of our weekly mission, this was played on a monday, the mission is called Operation Red Sand. Something that's very important for us as a group is to ensure we always have a wide variety of missions. This means it's very, very odd that we would play the same mission twice. We're happy to have a lot of members creating missions to allow us for such a wide spread of missions. This mission follows myself as part of a small machinegun team, great footage and teamwork using the spotter and ironsights to deliver death unto the enemy! oksman 37 Posted December 26, 2014 (edited) Semi Monthly Update & Video26-12-201481 days since last updateUpdateAlright time for another update! The year is coming to an end, and Guerrillas of Liberation ends another chapter in Arma 3 Gaming. After hundreds of missions this year, we can say without a doubt it will be a year to remember. Our campaign in Bosnia, Vietnam, Sahrani, missions completed throughout the year of 2014. We are still alive and well, and we plan to stay that way for the next year of 2015.Some updates on the situation with our choice of addons, we still maintain our use of AGM (Authentic Gameplay Modification) with it we've had a more in-depth experience together with units and vehicle packs such as the RHS Escalation pack as well as the SP pack and numerous other mods, we've also introduced Bornholm as our new map for Arma 3. The map itself will be the target destination for our next campaign of 2015, named Red Behemoth. Our numbers are thriving and we've gained a lot of new faces during the end of 2014, which is lovely as we now maintain two large squads within our platoon and on top of that a brilliant Air Corps supporting us from the Air. A lot of different experiences have been had in 2014, including stealthy night-missions, large raids, air-assaults, beach assaults, mechanized assaults and all kinds of warfare you can imagine, we still aim for the tactical gameplay and fun experience found in the middle between Casual gaming and MILSIM.We'd love for YOU to join us. In GOL you will not be required to be the best marksman, the best driver, the best pilot, the best soldier. You can be completely new to Arma 3, our officers and team leaders will ensure that you learn no matter what, all that we ask of our members is their time and willingness to learn, and our team effort will help you on your way to professionalism with a tint of fun!Sign up on our site right here:http://www.gol-clan.co.uk/Royal IncursionThis mission was played during the previous month, this was one of our optional small missions we play during the week. Regardless of it being optional and a small mission, the grandness of our group shines as our members take control of Helicopters and Tanks as well as Infantry in a combined arms effort very similar to Operation Market Garden. Our Air-Assault at Edessa takes us into the thick of it, behind enemy lines. Our tankers have to push through the city of Zaros and breakthrough the enemy lines to assist the Infantry surrounded at Edessa. Our Aircorp delivers Close Air Support and logistics to prolong the fight enough for the tanks to breakthrough. A breathtaking mission and a very stressful one, definitely one of the greater missions of the year. Thanks for watching and reading this update, hope you will consider joining the group! We've had time to roll through almost two Campaigns using the New updates of RHS:Escalation and other mods. Operation Red Behemoth was our Russian Campaign on Bornholm, Denmark which included 6 weeks of missions fighting NATO. After that we started another campaign on the Arma 3 map N'Ziwasogo, and it is currently undergoing. The new year has broughts some new addons and mods to enhance the gameplay that we enjoy. We've been growing as a clan and have established a good number of players within our Platoon and Aircorps, with more time we hope to grow even larger and enjoy even bigger operations. Currently the unit is awaiting the new Marksman DLC as we hope to see improvements in the original sway & weapon inertia, also awaiting the new feature for Bipods, these new features Bohemia Interactive has finally added to the game.We look to our near future as Arma 3 & Guerrillas of Liberation will only grow in the coming year, we hope to see you join our numbers and enjoy our missions, get on the wagon!Sign up on our site right here:http://www.gol-clan.co.uk/Taliban Attacks Marine OutpostRight so this video here is one of the latest videos we've posted from 1st Squad of 1st Platoon, we play a mission on the Arma 2 map PR FATA which is a lovely map that we've been able to add to Arma 3.
