Failberry 10 Posted March 10, 2013 The PiP bug is that the mirrors and thermal screens constantly flash/flicker. Anyone else suffer from this bug? The other bug, which at one time was a bug in OA before being fixed, was that turning ATOC on turns the grass and trees white. Anyone else experiencing either of these problems. I am using a gtx690, and I am wondering if perhaps the ATOC and PIP problems are related to each other. The ATOC can be corrected by disabling, but nothing prevents the mirrors from flashing or the thermal screens inside the vehicles from flashing. This is a bug that needs to be corrected as it makes using the GMG gun's thermal impossible. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
lev 21 Posted March 11, 2013 This is not only on the 690 but on all systems using a SLI configuration for the graphics card. If you turn off SLI mode and place it on a single monitor, then PIP will work properly. Once Nvidia releases a SLI profile for Arma3 this should be fixed I think. I using a 690 as well and I have not experienced your ATOC - white trees and grass issue. On a side note, how is your performance with the gtx690? Mines is far less impressive than I thought it would be on 3 monitors (about 20-30fps @ 5760x1080) or on 1 (about 30fps @ 1920x1080). Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
tet5uo 4 Posted March 11, 2013 I think it's actually the shader that's the issue. Shaders that use data from previous frames will usually not play well with Multi-GPU rendering. (and seriously? I have to do a bot-test for every post?) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I'm more inclined to think this is a driver issue as I have similar bugs in other game engines that comes and goes depending on the driver version, or settings changed within the drivers (using Nvidia Inspector). Anyone else experiencing either of these problems. I have this problem and I used to have it in OA before the patch as well. However I run on a AMD HD7970, so it shouldn't be a dual-GPU problem.
