ArmA III isn't working

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

Yesterday I bought the game and downloaded it over the night. This morning I wanted to start it, but after the little loading screen (with the logo and under it the procession), there is only a blackscreen. Nothing happens and I've to stop the game with the task manager. (there is also on the ArmA III task a "no response").

I've restarted the pc and steam. Gave Steam and ArmA III admin rights, added "-nosplash -nobenchmark" to the start options (got them by Google), deleted the profiles and also checked the steam cache.

Any ideas?

Try verify integrity of game cache, and report if that fixes it.

What drivers are you running? Try updating to 314 @ Nvidia.com & perhaps resetting the settings in the Global profile Nvidia Control Panel.

Last resort would be to remove the OC on your GPU - a lot of games in early stages don't take too kindly to any kind of OC.

It's a firewall, ArmA 3 may conflict with him.

Do all the updates with WindowsUpdate :)
