I have had Flasphoint running on my system before with a 14" moniter and it worked, now the only change is direct x 8, and it doesn't work. Mister Frag 0 Posted July 13, 2002 Not only does it work with DirectX 8, it comes with DirectX 8 on the CD. Have you tried running the DirectX diagnostics (DXDIAG.EXE) to see if everything is installed correctly? You said that you crash to the desktop, exactly what were you doing before the crash, is it reproducible?
