ArmA 3 Digital Maps?

Recommended Posts

Is there a description somewhere of the A3 digital maps available for Digital Deluxe and Supporter edition purchasers upon full game release?

Are they simply high-res images of the island maps? What image format? PDF? Printable?

Will these maps be available for purchase separately after full game release? If so, what is the (estimated) price?

There is no official A2 counterpart to these digital maps, correct? Only the hardcopy Chernarus Map Collection?

They'll probably be PDFs or something of the sort for you to print off and have with you. I'm sure we'll find out soon.

I hope we find out by May 5! :)

Wrong. The BI Store version of Arma 2 also has the map as printable PDF. And without being "Deluxe" or "Supporter". It was just there for free. OA I don't know yet and too lazy to plug in my external drive. :)

I bought retail boxed OA, and downloaded A2 from somewhere like Amazon, but can't remember exactly. I've never seen A2 digital maps other than an unofficial ones of Takistan by Tankbuster and a jpeg of Chernarus I downloaded from somewhere. It is odd that the A3 maps aren't included with the Alpha, which I presume means that they will not come with the full game if the game is purchased after full game release, but I can't say for sure.

Too bad I downloaded A2 from Amazon: no maps. :( No biggie, as the southzagoria.jpg I've got of Chernarus is nice and high-res.

But I'm mainly asking about the A3 maps here...
