Resistance auto~start, preference-start...

When you put the CD in and the auto insert/startup makes the Resistance screen pop~up. (the one you install from), If you select the Properties box, and try and start the game from the 'start' option inside I get a 'Insert correct CD' message!. i've tried starting with the game option at the top set to OFP and Resistance, makes no difference!.

The game will start from the normal shortcuts, and from the other 'preferences box'(in startup panel). but not from the CD autostart splash screen. what gives?. anyone else get this?. could this be related to the CTD's and H~Locks?...

On mine the preferences button points to the original operation flashpoint preferences. So presumably the start button also points to the original OFP.exe and as we all know that will not work with OFP:R. So.... the answer is to use the Flashpoint preferences on the Start-programs-codemasters shortcut. Should be ok then.
