Worries textures

Recommended Posts

Hello

I have a problem with the texture of the flame of the gun mounted on the chariot on which I work.

As you can see from the screen below, the texture of my model disappears when fired...

Front and on the right side by cons there are no worries, it is only in the rear view and the left side of the flame as it occurs (in fact the reverse of the texture applied to the model of the flame).

I think that this may be due to a compatibility problem with my texture, because zasleh Bis works very well moreover.

An idea?

Maybe Select the proxy;

Faces->Move Top

Or have you not used the right texture extension, maybe _co ?

Yes

I had used the right texture extension and applied "move top" on the proxy.

unfortunately this is not it.

Remind me of an old OFP bug where only some texture format was visible through transparent ones (.pac IIRC). So maybe this is related to the chariot texture format.

OK problem resolved :)

I changed my texture DTX5 to DTX1.

But I do not know why it works, if someone could explain...

Thanks all ;)

Did you name the file with the CA suffix? If not, TexView does not convert the texture properly.

Yes, make sure your textures are named correctly.

There is a problem with multiple stacked dxt5 alpha textures sometimes, like if you look at the edges of some tank treads through some dust particles, the buildings behind the tank seem to disappear.
