jaggedscars 1 Posted January 27, 2013 (edited) I saw a video of a guy doing some sniper rifle training with dummies. I've tried doing the shooting range but I cannot get further then opening the ammo/weapons crates as the tutorial stops there. There's a red arrow on the crates and a tutorial tip explaining inventory, however I cannot do shit, even after looting the weapons/ammo! ... any ideas? Thanks. jaggedscars 1 Posted January 27, 2013 I needed to hit spacebar to continue the tutorial. I did find the tutorial lacking as there is nothing in there to account for wind or adjusting for distance ect ect. So thanks for the download links, but it says I'm missing deleted.deserted file to use it.
roguetrooper 2 Posted January 28, 2013 1. Since the editor is the core and main feature of Arma, why don't you place a player character and some targets on a map? Takes about 30 seconds. 2. Open your main menu / control settings and define your own keys for zeroing.

That first one recommends three mods but they're all from 2007 so I'm not sure if they'd be needed/work in OA. The second mission appears to be designed for three players to evaluate a player's skill as a sniper. Maybe it works OK with only one human player but it's not clear from the description.
