Trapper 0 Posted July 7, 2002 When you put more weapons and ammunition in one of these objects (with addweaponcargo/addmagazinecargo), it seems like they can be overloaded since 1.75. If someone graps equipment from such an overloaded ammostorage device, and has to leave other things behind, the things are no longer "squeezed" into this object. If the box is full, they are simply put on the ground. Is there a new command, so the storagedevices can be overloaded without this problem? (Like it was in 1.46) Or can someone tell me how many slots all the crates and vehicles have to store equipment? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

In Multiplayer a few people could change weapons at the truck without a problem, but then the "satchel" started to appear. bn880 5 Posted July 15, 2002 I have been playing some 2-3 hour missions on a dedicated server with a pal of mine, and we usually have to load up vehicles full of weapons we find but; when too many weapons are added to vehicles (ie: ammo truck), they all spill out on the ground around the vehicle, and yet the vehicle still contains all the weapons. So we get extra weapons on the ground, but it's not good to have vehicles crap themselves on long missions as the number of objects the server has to keep track of increases. My pals P4 1.7 eventually got unplayable. Maybe because of all the objects. It might be good to have a vehicle ownership or something similar where you can go to the notepad and explore the contents of each/all vehicles your group owns, so that you can see how full it is and what you can drop... (pretty complex, but nice) Also I have dropped about 15 things in one place on a dedicated server, then when I pick up, I am missing many. Such as dropping 1-M21, 10-M21 mags,1-LAW, 3-LAW Rockets.... then when I try to pick the LAW up I have 2-LAW Rockets missing.
