Free track problem

Hi,

I have installed Free Track latest, Arma 2 latest, enabled TrackIr in Freetrack and enabled TrackIr in Arma 2 but have no head tracking :(

Am I doing something wrong?? I have read older post saying I need to put the FreeTrackClient.dll into my main Arma directory but I dont have that file and I dont get an option in Arma to enable FreeTrack.

Hi,

i also have this problem. Using the newest Freetrack-software with output freetrack or trackir enabled. After starting the game it crashes, which seems to be normal. After the that the game starts normal. So i enable freetrack or trackir in the controllersection, but getting no response from the game. It doesn´t work on Arma2 or Arma2 OA. Would appreciate any suggestions. The game is patched up to 1.62 with arma2 OA ACR lite patch. Greetings...

Have you created a profile for ArmA?

I only have the FreeTrack interface enable and of course the "controller" in ArmA2. And the directions must be binded in the control options as well. No problems, everything is working fine.

Btw.: The "crahs" at first game start appears as well. Seems to be a problem with the interface. But on second start everything is quite ok.

Create a profile? In freetrack software do u mean? I just clicked on the armed assault one but i havnt binded any keys in arma2.

I will try binding the keys when i get home and update :-)

Im just using the arma default profile in freetrack and have enabled trackir in freetrack and arma.

I have not binded any keys tho so i will try this an update :-)

Ps does your arma have freetrack as a controller or does it say trackir??

Arma2 supports Freetrack natively. No need for tricks. ;)

Yes, an ArmA2 profile in freetrack. And I mean not a sub-profile of the "Default" profile. And then select only freetrack and deselect TrackIR.

In ArmA2 enable FREETRACK controller and then you will see the key bindings saying "FreeTrack y-axis +" or something like that.

Well thx for the help. Got it working now. Like mentioned i created a profil called ARMA 2 outside default, marked freetrack at the output section, disabled trackir. Then started AO twice, because of the startbug, enabled freetrack at the contollersettings. Done and it works. Needs a little mor of tweaking, but that should be done in a few hours. ;)

I was reading through all the help I was getting and thinking I cant find this box to tick freetrack :( then It dawned on me gggrrr!

I was running FreeTrack 2.1.2 instead of 2.2 dooohhh!!
