Gabriel 1 Posted January 4, 2013 hello, i would like to know if there will be a patch which makes ARMA 2 combined operations work with the last DLC the ACR one so when i start combined ops i can use the stuff from this DLC like the stuff from BAF and PMC. I know there is a patch but make the units be on low definition and not in HD for those who bought the DLC. Also steam has never applied the patch and i would like to be able to use it with combined ops and the mods. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

RadicalAtHeart 11 Posted January 5, 2013 Steam is not a plague for ArmA 2 or ArmA. Everything has always worked fine. All I have to do is launch Operation Arrowhead from steam and all DLCs are loaded automatically. Including vanilla ArmA 2. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

As it requires content from A2 and OA. Same as above, its due to technical reasons. There wont be a "lite" one included in a patch. There is a separate "lite" patch download. But they cannot include it in a big game patch to patch the whole game. If you know what I mean. Like you said, I just use ARMA Launcher to launch ACR as a mod. I never use STEAM to launch ARMA, as of course with mods, its a PIA. Steam is a plague on ArmA. But i have yet to have a problem with ARMA & STEAM related, and many others in my group & friends haven't.. So that's just you. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
