OFP doesn´t run well on anything. Also, I can count off all buildings in the original OFP/Resistance that were enterable.

Guba's Villa, Derelict two storey, Non derelict two storey, single storey white building, single storey two flat white building (Troskas House), wooden shack, mediterranean church, castle tower, Nogova municipal building, two types of barns, castle ruin 2, barracks (only one of four or so types), tents, a handful of Kolgujev Ruins. Maybe I forgot one or two, but there are not many enterable buildings at all.

OFP is a 2001 era game. It was not as good as any of us remember it, and it shows me every time I do play it, personally. But I still like it, because it was the game that defined my gaming career, as well as what makes a good game a legendary game: a good Idea and a good Concept, pulled through without compromise.

It's my PC is what I'm trying to say... The graphics last time I played were ok. Just recently gone ropey trying new graphics drivers and then I don't know what to do, it's the two story building that you find in the main high street montignac iv played since day one and know every building and bush on every island so I know I should be able to get into the buildings, it's kinda like fade but my copy is legit and don't get any errors ?

Remember - you must not set viewdistance higher than 2km. The engine was made with 500m being the norm in mind and it was never optimized for 2km+ although it supports it.

You should also download 1.99 update which has some fixes for modern OS.

And are you running the game with a default exe, not resistance.exe by any chance? (Just checking)

Fixed it ... Went into the advanced settings exe and it says I have 0 ram? Probably don't recognise my massive 6 :) so it put all the sliders low for graphics, manually adjusted and bingo were cooking with gas (no ww2 joke)

Note there's a slider for framerate/FPS

The lower it is - the better the game will look

It doesn't mean the game will run exactly at that FPS

As far as I remember there was one slider in particular, Terrain Detail or something, that basically just added random polygons to the landscape. It was introduced with some patch. It didn't really make the game look any better, but was and is a massive resource hog. Plus the visibility setting that metakrase mentioned, you can go really overboard with that.

So I think if you keep these two at reasonable levels, you can turn the other ones back up to their maximum.

As for the non-enterable buildings, that was something that was actually improved/fixed with later patches. The collision detection was really bad initially, so you always got stuck at doorways or on stairs, etc. It was improved a lot in later versions.
