Models which may be of use?

1) I'm suprised nobody has done the dropship yet :/

2) The latest version of a open source combat simulator located at CSP has a large assortment of 3d models by the look of it (in sim download zip) but I can't check them out since I don't own 3d studio but others such as Scorpio :-) may find them of use. Best part is the entire work is open source and can be used however you want as long as it is not for monetary gain and I'm sure they would love a credit. Now if they suck well don't flame the message boy.

Just took a look with quick 3d, there's a t62, predator, f15 textured, f18, mirage, etc. Wouldn't mind seeing any of them in the game.

Fellas, has anone even looked at these yet? Nobody has yet to respond to this thread. I mean I'm sure someone with oxygen would like to model this seeing how it is open source to begin with -

hmm...I don't know about the models out there, but this whole csp thing seems to be a really cool idea. Talk about supporting the community! If this ever gets up to a usable state I would imagine it would be a great community for all modmakers and editors.

ill see what i can do to get these ingame, the f-15 is a little low on detail ie the engine and exhaust ports

thanks for that, but i wont bother making any more aircrafts for ofp. Too much at the moment.

But if there are any other models such as vehicles, i would take a look.

hey scorpio, how about making a troop transport hmmwv. Here is a picture. Its the one on the left and without the doors. PS put it in green camo like the original.

well i would have to model the thing all over again, because BIS put a lock on it.

But i have done that I'm trying to get some textures on it and hopefully it will be an Avenger.

But how about making this? I would realy like this alot. It seats 8 troops in the back, 4 on the left and 4 on the right and can seat 2 in the front. Thats enough to cary a squad of troops. 10 troops! In a hmmwv!

a squad is 12 troops, not 10.
