V-sync not working

Recommended Posts

Hi.

I recently reinstalled windows 7 on two SSD's in raid 0.

Before I did this, I had it windows and Arma 2: CO on a single SSD. (V-sync had no problems with this)

after installing the game and patching it up with 1.09, 1.11, 1.60 & 1.62, I launched the game. I put the options how I wanted them and started the game.

I noticed that I was having alot of screen tearing and started up MSI afterburner to monitor my FPS while playing.

I was having FPS way above 60 even though my V-sync was enabled in the game, I then quit the game and forced V-sync on through the drivers. also that did not work.

I doublechecked the Arma2oa.cfg file to check if Vsync was indeed enabled and it was.

Any hints on what I can do to resolve this, as it is using my GPU's way more than it needs to and I am having intensive screen tearing.

Thank you.

what vidcard do you own? And are the Vsync settings in it's Control Panel (CCC,nvidiaCP) set to have Vsync application adjustable?

I have 2x 7970's in crossfire.

I have tried having Only V-sync enabled in the game and set bu application in CCC.

I have tried having both V-sync enabled in the game and always on in CCC.

I have tried having V-sync disabled in the game and always on in CCC.

I have also tried 3 different drivers (including the one I had previous to windows reinstall), with no change
