Norlig 1 Posted November 14, 2012 Hi. I recently reinstalled windows 7 on two SSD's in raid 0. Before I did this, I had it windows and Arma 2: CO on a single SSD. (V-sync had no problems with this) after installing the game and patching it up with 1.09, 1.11, 1.60 & 1.62, I launched the game. I put the options how I wanted them and started the game. I noticed that I was having alot of screen tearing and started up MSI afterburner to monitor my FPS while playing. I was having FPS way above 60 even though my V-sync was enabled in the game, I then quit the game and forced V-sync on through the drivers. also that did not work. I doublechecked the Arma2oa.cfg file to check if Vsync was indeed enabled and it was. Any hints on what I can do to resolve this, as it is using my GPU's way more than it needs to and I am having intensive screen tearing. Thank you.
kklownboy 43 Posted November 15, 2012 what vidcard do you own? And are the Vsync settings in it's Control Panel (CCC,nvidiaCP) set to have Vsync application adjustable?
Norlig 1 Posted November 16, 2012 (edited) what vidcard do you own? And are the Vsync settings in it's Control Panel (CCC,nvidiaCP) set to have Vsync application adjustable? I have 2x 7970's in crossfire. I have tried having Only V-sync enabled in the game and set bu application in CCC. I have tried having both V-sync enabled in the game and always on in CCC. I have tried having V-sync disabled in the game and always on in CCC. I have also tried 3 different drivers (including the one I had previous to windows reinstall), with no change Edited November 16, 2012 by Norlig
