Dissapearing radio in SP

Hello,

Since long time ago I got the wierd problem with ArmA during SP missions. Mainly the radio dissapears from the map sometimes which makes some of the missions impossible to complete, especially when you need to use the radio to launch an trigger or perform some scripted action. As i mentioned I had this problem since long ago and I dont know what the issue really is. Id be really, really thankfull if someone could explaing me or help me fix it. Its flustrating, becasue you play the mission, than you get to the end of it when you got to call a chopper, you open your map and the radio isnt just there, althought you had it at begining of the game, and you have it in the equipement.

I tried the following

-Restarting game

-Resuming the game from different saves

-I play on veteran mode

-Dropped radio, picked up it. Picked up another radio, tried with different AI team members etc.

-For the mission in which I currently encountered this issue I used following mods

-@ACEX_SM

-@Blastcore_Visuals

-@CBA

-@RH_M4

and Patchi replacement pack for US Army

I doubt its because of the mods because the issue uses to appear also when I play vanilla.

Id be thankfull for any help or tip how to fix it or what the matter of this bug or issue is!

Btw. Dissapeared - Disappeared is the right spelling, Id be thankfull if admin can correct it and excause me. (thread name)

In general, it's hard to solve such problem while using mods - so really make sure you are using no mods (you can see that by the list on the right side in main menu) while trying to get rid of this problem.

Next thing: Are you playing ArmA 2 or ArmA 2 CO? Did you update to 1.11 / 1.62?

Other question: Are you using beta patches?

Did you put any addon into the addon folder? (I mean BIs Addon Addon Folder, not a folder you separately created)

Thanks for responding to this thread!

Regarding the arma version, its 1.62 with latest beta patches avalible.

Next think, I also run the game via SixUpdater.

I dont usually put anything in addon folder, I put all the mods in game direction folder with @ prefix

I was wondering, I got ACRE installed in the game direction folder, althought I never run it when I play SP, could it have some affection on the game even when it isnt running?

Disappearing radio on the map is happening since ages (that would be Arma2 v1.0 in 2009). You can always access the radio from the action menu though.

Of course ACRE affects the game :) but afaik the only replace existing radio with a named one, personal handy one.

Hey,

Well, Its definitely not not any mod affecting the game, because Ive run it in the vanilla setup and the radio just isnt there. Its netiher the mission, because when I started it, the radio was actually avalible. Regarding the action menu, it dosent work neither. The mission I play is "Operation Skalisty".

Could the problem have something with saves to do?
