Want to make a mod the spawns a squad under my controll??

As the title says, is there a quick n dirty way to do this? say in the mouse wheel menu spawn a squad under my command?

Or even better is there a mod available already?

Tried MCC, Can't make them join your squad.

I want to use it for sec ops as the reinforcments in SecOps malfunctions lots.

To add this to another mod I just copy and paste the script lines into the files with the same names correct?

We need to get you situated with the terms in Arma2:

=missions are called scenarios or missions, these you play

=addons are added units, vehicles, ect,. to the game, that you can play with

=mods are large versions of addons mostly total conversions or major features added to the game to alter gameplay, as well as add added units, vehicles ect,.

=maps, known as islands is the land you play on.

So what your referring to is mission, for that script, just follow what the directions say in the included readme,

your adding the script to the mission, be sure to put the script itself in the same folder of the mission.

For a tutorial as a reference about adding missions to your game, and many other things, refer to this page on my site:

apply whatever part you find that helps you to what your trying to do.

Weird I followed instructions but when I spawn i get the error "bad vehicle type soldierwsabeteurrecon", then unmanned parachutes come down?? Thanks for the help so far, Can't believe i'm actually making progress here.

Spawn them with MCC 3D editor add the Recruitable preset and you'll have an option to recruit the unit when you get close to it.

I did that but there is no option when I get close. tried mouse wheel menu and space bar menu?
