opiumskittles 1 Posted October 18, 2012 My friends and I recently purchased Operation Arrowhead, and we were interested in the CTI aspect of playing multiplayer. We've been looking around the various mod sites and found several new maps or CTI modes. I've gotten them installed and activated through the expansion tabs. Maps like Panthera, Lingor, etc. But yet when I go to try to play them in CTI mode, all that shows up in the mission tabs are the editor options. Is there any way to play CTI on new maps other than Takistan? I've been looking online and on the forums and I've seen the mods, but I don't know what I might have done wrong. Thanks. [frl]myke 15 Posted October 18, 2012 You've downloaded just the area, not the missions. You might be confused about the naming conventions being different than in other games. Map/Island = a topographic recreation of a fictional or real part of the world, includes infrastructures and buildings. Mission = takes place on a Map/Island, usually disrtibuted and also usually not created by the same creators. In "other games", the environment is the mission and vice versa. In ArmA 2, they are independent. So you might look for CTI and/or Warfare Missions that take place on your desired island/map. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
