Antares 1 Posted October 9, 2012 I began the campaign game. I worked me trough the first half of the campaign all the way to Fulcrum. I liked the gameplay, the skirmishes with the droids, and finding various parts of the carriers equipment, from island to island. Everything is very beautiful and I played for hours, loosing the feeling of time. The only abrupt awakening are the frequent crashes. But I adjusted myself and I am saving a lot. I like the story, the planet, the effects, the sounds, the vehicles. During the egoshooter sequences of the game I appreciated the pathmarker in my HUD. So I could find the path again, when I was going to be lost in the corridors. A great Job done Bohemia. The egoshooter part of the game is real fun. But the vehicle missions are fun, too. Every Island is a real challenge. You have to fight from one fortress to the next until you conquer the whole Island. Best of all, you have to leave the command center intact instead to blow it up, like in the old days. (Not that you couldn't leave them intact in the original, but it was easier to destroy everything and rebuild anew than to loose time with a virus bomb.) I like the facilities which provide fuel, munition and even repair you. Of course some problems maybe arise in the handling of the mantas or the walrusses. But by the time you reach Fulcrum, you are able to control the vehicles even blind. I am eager to know how the next stage goes on. Very fun was the Hammerhead Explosion. I didn't knew that there was glas which could sustain a blow like that, LOL. Well, I like it. If you could eliminate the cause of this frequent crashes I would LOVE IT. See you out there on the sea.... :-)

Scepticer 1 Posted October 10, 2012 Pleasant report. :) I enjoyed the campaign too. Not many glitches & nothing severe. Unique, long and entertaining story. This is obviously not an AAA-game with the budget of Grand Theft Auto but it has a nice both retro and futuristic feel to it. I think they have done well so far with creating the 'Gaea universe' and made it consistent and coherent.
