Show text in Briefing screen / Menu?

Hello there,

in a new mission, the commander should make some choice that triggers a script.

Is it possible in the briefing to have some interaction?

I need a way the commander can choose a spawn location for his troops, and also dynamically created triggers etc need to be created there afterwards.

Ideally would be some GUI telling the player what to do ("click on map to select spawn location", then he can click or something like that).

It is important that this is done before the actual mission starts.

You can put down markers and they'll remain there after start right?

You could ghetto pick a spawn point by leaving 3 unique weapons in the briefing pool and when the game starts spawn the units based on which weapon they picked! :)

Hm, i want it to be completely random. I dont want to force the Commanders to use predefined locations.

I think i will place the units inside some "sandbox" at beginning where i can handle the selection stuff as usual. Would have been cool if it was in briefing, but if its not posssible...

"I want it completely random" and "I want to choose from briefing" don't make sense together. :)

If you mean you want the players to start anywhere, maybe just start them at an airfield and give them vehicles to approach from anywhere?
