CyBoardR 1 Posted September 29, 2012 Hi, I just got the PC/Steam version of Carrier Command. By the way, thank you very much for this wonderful rebirth of the game I loved in the past and now again. As I want to play it from time to time on different systems where I have Steam running with the same account, I need to know where the save games are stored so I can sync them. Would be nice if Bohemia might use steams cloud sync for save games soon. Thanks in advance for your answers. BR, CyBoardR
harbinger 1 Posted September 29, 2012 With the Beta's - some saved games got to around 80 Megabytes in size. I'm not sure if that has changed, and I haven't run the Steam version yet - but the average Steam size for game saves is 10Mb in my library - so I would suggest being careful. CyBoardR 1 Posted September 29, 2012 Thank you very much for the fast answer, Harbinger. I will be careful and keep track of the file sizes. But do you know the path where the save games are stored? I noticed there is no savegame folder in the installation path of the game and no one in the appdata path as well. BR, CyBoardR
Quantumboredom 1 Posted September 29, 2012 I don't have the steam version, but my saves are in C:\Users\<username>\Documents\CarrierCommand\<username>
CyBoardR 1 Posted September 29, 2012 Thank you. Finally I found it in the Steam installation folder \Steam\userdata\1561397\65740\local\<username>\

tortuosit 486 Posted September 30, 2012 I noticed there is no savegame folder in the installation path of the game and no one in the appdata path as well. Not appdata... BTW: Can someone explain to me why especially game software developers dump the savegames into the Documents folder, and not into %appdata%? Annoying!
