Additional mouse buttons..

Hi Folks

Is it possible somehow to use more than the 5 mouse buttons that are listed in the control settings?

It would be quite poor, if arma 2 allows just those buttons, even if you have more on your mouse..

But if not (what i expect ;)) is there a trick, to add them anyway?

Can't imagine that everyone just uses 5 mouse buttons in that game Oo

Okay, it was easier as i thought with my mouse software.. nevertheless i need a second profile..

But anyway, the buttons should be identified.. On the other hand, arma knows every button on my gamepad. ^^

I use a Roccat Kone + at the moment, it has a couple of buttons on the side (should be for ‘easyshift’ change profile, but reassigned them), one I have for walking the other for freelook. The tilt left and tilt right on the mouse wheel are assigned mirrors (blakes_mirrors) as I do a bit of driving around within the editor. I don’t like lots of mouse buttons, don’t need them with the Nos and the keyboard, although I use the KB a lot less. Just assigned them via the mouse software same with the Nostromo I use for left hand. The game recognises the Nostromo, not sure if it auto assigns buttons, never tried it, like to assign buttons manually, just the way I like to customise things, including macros.

The Rat 5 I have is also set up similar to the Roccat, all via the software included with your peripherals.

The Nos has 216 possible assignments and the Roccat Kone+ has 55 or thereabouts, (Rat5’s similar when I use it ) just remembering everything, which at my age can be a problem sometimes, good job it’s more second nature now, than memory..;)
