Sc0rc3d 1 Posted September 26, 2012 (edited) Hi Guys, i am sorry that i need to open a new Thread for such a small thing. But the search did not bring me further. I make a VIP Escort Mission at the moment. Yesterday Evening my Girlfriend forced me to watch Bodyguard with her. And in one scene was there a Panic Button to alert the Bodyguards. I find that idea very nice for my mission. I find a panic button is an interesting thing and i would like to realize it for the mission. The Idea is if the VIP sees an Enemy or something strange. He could Alert all Units in ~ 5miles or the hole "Security Force" on the Ground and in the Air. But how? ;) I will give the VIP an Action Menu Entry like: stID1 = this addAction [ (""<t color=""""#c50b0b"""">"" + (""OShitSomeOneWillKillMe"") + ""</t>""), ""xxx = true"" ]; In der init.sqf [] spawn { while {not isnull vip} do { trig1 attachto[vip,[0,0,0]]; sleep 0.5; }; }; And a Trigger on the map "trig1" with: con: xxx on act: _handle = player execVM "alert.sqf"; "alert.sqf" hint "VIP Alert"; sleep 30; should that be work? :j: greetings Sc0rc3d Edited September 26, 2012 by Sc0rc3d
samatra 85 Posted September 26, 2012 Doesn't look like it will work. Here is how I would do it VIP unit init line: if(local this) then {this addAction ["Alert!", "alert.sqf"];}; alert.sqf: [nil, nil, rHINT, "VIP needs help!"] call RE; You need to have Functions module added into mission. Sc0rc3d 1 Posted September 26, 2012 Thank you for your quick response. The Functions module is active on the map for the BIS_fnc_Infotext. The rHINT is not so nice because the Enemy (Takistani civilians "Terrorists") be true human players. ;) Can i set rHINT == west or something? And the "Panic Button" needs to be pressed mybee many times.
