Help with .emf files and seeing my models in arma2 instead in just arma2 OA

Recommended Posts

Hello and before hand thanks for your imputs, ok down to bussiness.

I just starting to get my hands into modeling and after searching for a starting point i came across with Mondkalb's Addon Tut, i got the BI tools installed plus im using PS for texturing and here is my question:

1 - When i export the file from UV map and use EmftoPng and try to see it all that i get is a black square, before exporting i had the model unwrap and everything?

2 - I did other tutorial made a model but no luck the only thing that i notice that at least i only saw in the game editor menu the name of it but only on Arma2 and no in Arma2 OA? i got both in the same folder and looks like they share the same AddOns folder i try to change the path (BinPBO) from Arma2 to Arma2 OA and nothing. I dont know may be the config.cpp file was wrong (that shuldnt suprise me sicen the model didnt work)

But any ways if you guys can share that will be great and also guidance on websites to get free textures and imputs on software that i may need beside BI tools.

thanks.

Open the EMF in MS paint and save as .png or something. ;)

Where are you putting your .pbos?

I'd try with both the EmftoPng and the MS paint and i get a black screen, i'll post some shots of my screnn later on because i decide to re-do the whole thing in case that i miss something, perhaps you can bullet point the basic side of exporting UV maps :)

Where are you putting your .pbos?

the AddOns folder in my root Arma2 where is also my stream version of Arma2 OA and i only see one AddOns folder so they are shering the AddOns i assume

I used to have issues in the past with the EMF exports but then switched to WMF and GIMP opens these just fine.
