Another good startpoint would be an original copy of OFP updated to the latest version. You can find informations about the patches in the almighty FAQ of our dearest AvonLady. Harnu 0 Posted June 26, 2002 Get OFP Ver. 1.46 (or 1.49) From the www.flashpoint1985.com site. Â Then when you start OFP, selet "Multiplayer". Â When the new screen appears, look at the upper right. Â Click remote, and in the server IP box put 208.251.17.94. Â Leave the port alone (I think default is 2234, same as server). Â Join us and play. Â We can teach you what you need to know. Â Follow what the book says to do and you will be playing in ten mins. Â Its also free. Â You could try useing the all seeing Eye, but you have to pay for that. Â That is if you bought the game and it isnt a bootlegged copy. Have fun. Do make sure that you upgrade to at least 1.46. You will mess everyone else up if you dont. Harnu 0 Posted June 26, 2002 DON'T USE GAMESPY!!!!!! It's horrible. So many adds, wrong pings. Just skip gamespy. The all-seeing eye is the way to go. And no it doesn't cost money. Only time it would is if you regester for it. But with the unregestered eye you can still search for games/players/server. Use "The Eye" Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

ralphwiggum 6 Posted June 26, 2002 www.udpsoft.com/eye or something like that. it's just that unregistered version lacks in some convenient features like multiple profiles. you can still use it, but supporting UDP soft would be great. $15 for the Eye's full version. and speaking of gamespy, if you used Ver. 1.60 beta network patch, you'll notice that OFP uses it...*sigh* Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
