eagledude4 3 Posted August 14, 2012 I'm not sure how to use this program properly. I've tried using "ConvertWrp.exe -convertwrp Map.wrp 60 Pew.cfg" in the cmd prompt, but no .pew file was produced. I followed this tutorial: http://tactical.nekromantix.com/tactical/wiki/doku.php?id=arma2:tools:convertwrp
.kju 3245 Posted August 14, 2012 Can you please first tell us what your plans are? You need to ask for permission to _release_ someone else's modified work (also true for BI terrains).
eagledude4 3 Posted August 14, 2012 (edited) I'm trying to modify the texture directory for the map because I'm restructuring the addons, with permission from the author. Edited July 5, 2013 by eagledude4
.kju 3245 Posted August 14, 2012 it says: ConvertWrp AnyArmaWrpFile[.wrp] 60 [PewConfigFile] no idea where you got that "-convertwrp" from To move the texture directory, you can also use moveObject. Would be a lot less effort that way.
eagledude4 3 Posted August 14, 2012 I don't think you're on the same page as me. I also realize this is in the wrong section.
eagledude4 3 Posted August 14, 2012 I'm trying to edit the object directory location inside a .wrp file but when I save the changes, the file becomes corrupt. I found a program that converts .wrp to .pew so that I may be able to change the directory, but I can't seem to get the program to work. The program is called convertWrp. If anyone knows how to use this program, or can suggest a different method to edit the .wrp file, I would greatly appreciate it. Before anyone asks, I'm not editing any BI maps, or any addons without the author's consent.
